Peacefully at rest on Saturday 10th January 2026 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Avis, aged 88 years of Church Lawton. Dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Derek, much loved mum of John and daughter in law Vicky and a wonderful grandma of Gabriel, Laurie and Adelaide. Norman Pye passed away peacefully in hospital on 17 January 2026, aged 84. A much loved father, brother and father-in-law, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Pauline Elizabeth LEESE
On Wednesday 21st January 2026, peacefully in a local care home, Pauline aged 75 years. Beloved and loving Wife of the late Colin, loving Mother of Jonathan, Sara and Chris, Step-Mother to David and Helen, much loved Mother-in-Law to Adriana, Amy and the late Russell, devoted Grandmother of Sophie, Oliver, Edward and Ivy and a dear Sister of the late Helen.
Pauline was the former Proprietor of Club Ties and Maccravats, a local silk tie and scarf manufacturer. Pauline was an active member of Tytherington Family Worship Church and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. The Funeral Service will take place at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday 25th February at Tytherington Family Worship Church followed by a private Service of Committal which will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium at 2.45 p.m.

Mary "Joan" Hayden Passed away peacefully on 16th January 2026, aged 101 years, surrounded by her loving family. Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe Hayden, and her son, Michael. She is survived by her children, Kath, Andrew, Chris, and John, their partners, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A spirited, vibrant, and scholarly woman, Joan lived fully and treasured her family above all. She found joy in shared times, loved sport, busy hands, playing cards, socialising and passing on her knowledge and passions to all who knew her. Her warmth, laughter, and zest for life enriched everyone around her.
The funeral will be held at St Theresa's Church on Thursday 12th February at 2:15pm. At the request of the family, no flowers please; donations in her memory to the Deaf Centre would be gratefully received.
Margaret HEMING
Margaret passed away peacefully on 18th January 2026, aged 84 years. Margaret was the beloved wife to the late John Heming, a much-loved mum to Dave, Mike and Liz, dear grandma, great grandma and a wonderful friend to many. Margaret taught at Blythe Bridge High School, lectured at South Cheshire College and latterly worked for Cheshire Probation Service in Crewe.
The funeral service and celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Monday 16th February 2026 at 1.00pm at Crewe Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only. Passed away peacefully on 6th January 2026 at Leighton Hospital. Andrea Simpson aged 65 years. Irene Lily WATKINS
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Irene Watkins on 10th of January 2026 peacefully, in the presence of the tender care of the staff at Lauren Court Care Home. Irene, cherished wife to Dennis and loving mother to her two boys Keith and Derek, all now sadly deceased. It is comforting to know that they will be reunited together once again.
