Popular Stockport indie band Blossoms are set to play Delamere Forest next summer. The band have been announced as the first confirmed headliners for the 2025 version of Cheshire's Forest Live.

Hot on the heels of their highly praised new album ‘Gary’, Blossoms will be heading back to their Cheshire roots for the Delamere Forest show on Saturday 21 June 2025 .

Since forming in 2013, Blossoms have enjoyed widespread acclaim, with four UK Number 1 albums, BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominations and a series of globe-trotting tours under their belts.

Blossoms are the first of many bands to be announced to be taking to the stunning surroundings of Forestry England Delamere this summer. Fans can expect a fun-filled offering from the indie-rock favourites, with new tracks like “I Like Your Look” and “Big Star” accompanied by earlier hits including “I Can’t Stand It”, “There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls)”, “Charlemagne” and “Your Girlfriend”.

Blossoms’ Forest Live fixture will also feature support from rising alternative singer-songwriter Seb Lowe and Mancunian up-and-comers The Guest List .

With songs intended to spark meaningful conversations and tackle pressing issues such as societal injustice, Seb Lowe’s sound is a rich tapestry woven with elements plucked from a plethora of inspirations. Quickly emerging as one of the UK’s most distinctive young voices, his work combines powerful social commentary with infectious melodies, wit and humour. Formed by frontman Cai Alty and four friends in early 2021, The Guest List released their self-titled debut EP last year, and have since amassed a large following and reputation as a buzzy new act on the Manchester music scene.

Merging stellar performances from world-class acts with beautiful outdoor locations to create an atmosphere like no other, Forest Live 2025 will take place at four forest venues: Forestry England Cannock Chase, Delamere, High Lodge, Thetford and Westonbirt Arboretum .

Blossoms join a selection of renowned global artists as confirmed headliners for the event’s 2025 edition, including Sting (Cannock Chase and Westonbirt Arboretum), The Script (Westonbirt Arboretum and High Lodge, Thetford) and Elbow (Westonbirt Arboretum).

Forestry England manage and care for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests. They use the money Forest Live raises to maintain these beautiful natural areas for everyone to enjoy, run important conservation projects and keep growing trees.

Last year they planted some 7.4 million trees and welcomed 285 million visits in 2023/24. Everyone in England lives within a one-hour drive of one of the nation’s forests. Over two million people have enjoyed the Forest Live gigs over the last 23 years.

This year sees Forestry England present the concert series in partnership with Live Nation’s Cuffe & Taylor for the second year running.
