Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after a charity shop window was smashed in Chester city centre. Officers were called to the Cancer Research store in Watergate Street at around 11.40pm on Saturday, December 13.

It was reported to them that a man had smashed the window. Enquiries have been ongoing since the offence was reported to trace the individual and now officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to as they believe he may hold vital information.

PC Kasia Hunter said: “We have conducted a number of enquiries into what happened and we are now at the stage where we are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to. Anyone who recognises the man pictured should contact us on 101 or by visiting www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting 25001018380. We would also urge the man in the image to get in touch with us.”
