A Cheshire gastropub has unveiled its new outdoor terrace and courtyard. The interior of The Wheatsheaf, in Sandbach, has already undergone a makeover in 2026.
Now the new-look terrace and courtyard has also opened. In a social media post to diners, The Wheatsheaf stated: "Our brand new outdoor terrace and courtyard is officially open. We’ve been quietly working on this since our refurbishment a few weeks ago, and we think you’re going to love it.
"Our insulated terrace is the perfect spot to relax, complete with a log burner and heaters, so you can stay cosy whatever the weather. Whether you’re joining us for food, drinks, a catch-up, or planning a special celebration, event, or wedding, this is the perfect place to be. We’ll see you out there."
