Cheshire pubs selling pints for £2 as prices slashed for two weeks
Greene King's special offer will be welcome news for pub-goers who have seen costs rocket in recent years
A popular pub chain has launched a special offer allowing customers to buy a pint for just £2. Greene King Pubs unveiled the offer on Wednesday, September 4, and it will run until September 18.
It's being run to mark the end of summer and will come as a welcome boost to many after the price of pints skyrocketed in recent years, now standing at an average £4.80. The chain has a number of pubs in Cheshire where punters can snap up a cheap pint.
Olivia Robertson, head of marketing at Greene King, said: “While we can’t guarantee that the Great British weather will get any better, we can guarantee good times ahead with our £2 Pint offer to toast the season and give reason for friends and family to gather socially before the end of summer at any one of our 700+ pubs nationwide.
"High street shops enjoy an end of summer sale – so why not your favourite local Greene King pub too. As always, our Greene King staff will be happy to serve all of our guests responsibly.”
The offer is available in 708 pubs nationwide. Only one of the following drinks will be available in the offer per pub; Amstel, Carlsberg, Fosters, Flint Eye, Pravha, Tennent's, Carling, Coors Light, Innis & Gunn, Estrella, West 4 Lager.
