Chester to celebrate city's 'amazing' food scene with first-ever 'restaurant week'

Chester is set to celebrate the city's 'amazing' food scene by hosting the city's first-ever 'restaurant week'. Chester Restaurant Week - a week-long celebration of independent food and drink across the city centre - will take place from February 16-22.

Food lovers can expect exclusive menus, special dishes and great-value dining experiences at a range of venues – from cosy cafés and historic pubs to modern restaurants, artisan bakeries and bustling bars. It provides the perfect excuse to try somewhere new, enjoy a midweek treat or plan a foodie weekend in the city.

Gareth Boyd, founder of Walking Food Tours UK and curator of Chester Restaurant Week, said: "This is a week to celebrate Chester’s amazing independent food and drink scene. We want residents and visitors to explore, try new flavours, and support the businesses that make the city so special. We’d also love as many city centre venues serving food and/or drink to get involved – it’s your chance to be part of our first-ever Restaurant Week!"
