The Chester Grosvenor is as much a part of the city centre's fabric as the famous Eastgate Clock which it stands proudly next to. It has been at the heart of the city since 1865 and, in that time, has welcomed a host of high profile guests, ranging from royalty to legendary fashion designer Coco Chanel.

The hotel states on its website that it offers "understated elegance, sublime comfort and a relaxed ambience". Family-run Nunsmere Hall is a country house hotel dating back to around 1900 that overlooks a 60-acre lake.
