An "attractive" former church building with stunning views of the Cheshire countryside has sold at auction. The old Allgreave Methodist Church, near Macclesfield, had a guide price of £80,000.
The property, which has planning consent to be turned into a holiday home, went under the hammer with Adam Partridge Auctioneers & Valuers earlier this month. Lot one in the evening auction, the building was snapped up for £86,000.
