A historic building on the Countess of Chester Hospital campus is up for sale. The Grade II Listed 1829 Building is due to be vacated in the coming months.
NHS services operating at the property are being relocated elsewhere on the Liverpool Road hospital site. The price is only available on application.
The building is being marketed by Lambert Smith Hampton in Manchester who describe it as "a prime redevelopment opportunity". The Rightmove listing states: "The 1829 Building and surrounding land is a prime redevelopment opportunity subject to the necessary planning/listed building consents.
"The NHS services currently operating out of the building are being relocated to alternative locations within the campus. The property is due to be vacated by Q2 2026.
