A historic Cheshire pub has reopened following a major revamp. The Blue Cap, a popular Chef & Brewer pub in Sandiway, Northwich, has benefited from a six-figure investment.
Originally dating back to 1716, the historic pub on Chester Road has undergone a top-to-bottom renovation and officially welcomed customers back on Friday (March 20). The works have carefully preserved the Blue Cap’s unique character, ensuring customers enjoy a traditional pub experience alongside plenty of modern-day comforts.
The Blue Cap’s interior has received significant investment with vibrant décor, comfortable furniture and new flooring introduced throughout the venue to elevate guest experiences and provide a warm and welcoming environment for friends, families and their furry friends. The pub’s private function rooms have also been refurbished, offering smart bookable areas for groups to celebrate their special occasions in style.
Outside, the Blue Cap’s exterior has been spruced up to enhance the pub’s kerbside appeal, while the garden has been improved with upgraded outdoor furniture, expanded seating and new fencing and lighting to create the perfect space for loved ones to come together and enjoy an alfresco meal or drink throughout the year.
