Gary Porter

Gary has been a journalist since 2005 when he joined the Ellesmere Port Pioneer as a trainee reporter. He later moved to the Chester Chronicle and the North Wales Daily Post, where he worked as a senior reporter. Since 2021, Gary has been both a reporter and content editor for CheshireLive. He is currently a West Midlands Content Editor writing specifically for CheshireLive and StokeonTrentLive. Born, raised, and continuing to live in Cheshire, he remains passionate about covering news from across his local area.
