A lorry smash has shut a junction on the M56. The collision has occurred at Junction 14 where the wagon has hit the safety barriers and 'come off the carriageway'.
But Cheshire Police say there have been no reports of any serious injuries. According to a live map from Google and its the westbound slip road coming off the motorway heading towards the A5117 that has been closed.
Meanwhile the eastbound around that junction is very busy as diverted traffic is heading back on that side to exit at Junction 14.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Junction 14 of the M56 at Hapsford is currently closed following a collision. The incident involves a HGV which has collided with the safety barriers and come off the carriageway.
"There are no reports of any serious injuries, but the road is closed while recovery work is undertaken."
