A vehicle fire has turned a section of the M6 into a car park. The vehicle has burst into flames on the M6 southbound between junction 19 for Knutsford and junction 18 for Middlewich.
The alarm was raised at 12.06pm this afternoon.
Traffic monitoring system Inrix states: "All traffic is being temporarily held and there is stationary traffic due to a vehicle fire on the M6 southbound from junction 19 to junction 18."
