The A5280 Skyline Drive has been forced to close in both directions owing to an overturned lorry, reports the Inrix traffic management system.
The stretch of road in question runs from the Fairchild Road junction in Burtonwood to Junction 8 of the M62 (for Warrington West and Burtonwood).
The incident was first reported around 4.15am on Wednesday morning (December 22).

Back on Skyline Drive, the closure continues:
A5280 Skyline Drive in both directions closed due to overturned lorry from Fairchild Road to M62 J8 (Warrington West / Burtonwood). Traffic is coping well.
The road has been closed since around 04:00 Wednesday morning.

Two lanes closed and slow traffic due to accident on M6 Southbound between J19 A556 ( Knutsford ) and J18 A54 Middlewich Road (Middlewich / Holmes Chapel).
Lanes three and four (of four) are closed.
2: A34 PENDLETON WAY - WILMSLOW - NORTHBOUND - CHESHIRE
A34 Pendleton Way Northbound closed due to flooding between B5359 Wilmslow Road (Harden Park Roundabout) and A538 ( Prestbury Roundabout).
The road has been closed since the early hours of the 9th of December after the pumping station failed.
