A look back at the pictures from your Cheshire high school proms

Sadly, this year one of the highlights of the high school calendar has fallen victim to the coronavirus pandemic.

Hundreds of students across the county should have been celebrating the end of their exams and their secondary education at their high school prom but due to lockdown these events have been cancelled.

Each year we are inundated with your pictures from prom season and over the years we have seen some stunning dresses, suits hairstyles and even modes of transport chosen by Year 11 and Year 13 students for their big nights.

So we thought we'd look back through our archives to bring you these pictures from Chester and Ellesmere Port high school proms between 2014 and 2018.
