A luxury boutique aparthotel in Chester city centre has gone on the market. The Hotel Chester, located on Newgate Street, is up for sale with offers in excess of £3.6m being sought.
Described as "a fully operational, luxury aparthotel with 16 self-contained apartments and restaurant, with planning consent for an additional seven apartments", the property is being marketed by Equity Growth Property based in Chorley. The Hotel Chester, which opened in 2021, is the brainchild of family-run hotel business Walker & Williams.
The historic building, which dates back to around 1782, was previously used as offices and had been vacant for around 15 years before its transformation. Frank Whittle Partnership (FWP) led the restoration of the property.
