Man, 40, due in court accused of Chester pub burglary

Cash was taken from the pub's safe

A man has been charged with burglary following an investigation into the theft of cash from a pub in Chester.

The charge relates to a burglary at the Peacock pub on Christleton Road, Boughton, on August 28. Police say access was gained to a safe in a private area of the premises and cash was taken.

Darren O’Reilly, 40, from Strada Way, Liverpool, will appear at Chester Magistrates on Monday 1 September.
