New parking rules in force at Cheshire beauty spot
The change came in over the weekend
New parking rules have been brought in at a Cheshire beauty spot. Astbury Mere Trust has banned overnight parking on its car park by locking the gate.
The new rule came into force at Astbury Mere Country Park on Sunday 1 March. Stoke-on-Trent Angling Society has warned its members of the change at the Congleton beauty spot.
It comes as a row is rumbling over the erection of additional fencing around the lake.
