Search on for missing Warrington girl, 15, as police appeal for public's help

Call police if you have any information as to Sophie's whereabouts

A 15-year-old girl from Warrington has gone missing, police have confirmed. Officers have been carrying out 'extensive enquiries' to track Sophie Wooder since she was reported missing on February 18, but have so far got no closer to finding her.

Cheshire Police is now appealing to the public for help. Anyone with any information that may be useful, is asked to contact police.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Sophie Wooder was reported missing from an address in Latchford at around 10.40pm on Tuesday 18 February.

"Officers have carried out extensive enquiries since she was last seen but so far to no avail.

"Sophie is described as white, of slim build, 5ft 5in tall, with long brown hair. She is known to frequent the Runcorn and Frodsham areas."
