MPs have received £1.3 million in gifts and trips abroad since the election - and you can see what each one has declared in that time using our gadget below.
A row over free tickets caused early problems for Sir Keir Starmer’s Government back in September. The practice of receiving gifts has continued, though.
Analysis of the MPs’ Register of Interests shows that hundreds of MPs have declared receiving gifts in the past year. MPs have received a total of 454 gifts from UK sources, worth a total of £477,593. They’ve also received trips abroad worth a total of £786,715, donated by a variety of organisations such as foreign governments, think tanks, and private individuals.
Nigel Farage has been the biggest beneficiary of gifts and trips abroad. The Clacton MP’s entries in the register since the election come to a total of £100,038.
Among the gifts registered by Farage are a £8,413 return helicopter journey for him and a team member paid for by Staffordshire-based JC Bamford Excavators. Former Tory leadership hopeful Tom Tugendhat has received the next highest total.
His gifts and trips were valued at a total of £34,916. That includes a £12,404 trip to the USA to speak at a Hudson Institute conference and £9,997 to attend a dinner on internal policy hosted by Todd Ricketts.

Not included in the gadget are any donations or gifts received by MPs to cover legal costs. We have also excluded any UK received gifts that were received before the election that might have been declared afterwards.
