The UK's biggest convenience store says it hopes to mix quality with affordability with the launch of a new range of award-winning wines under the 'Legends' label.
SPAR has brought together drinks from some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions for a collection of premium plonks, including five distinctive 'hero' bottles chosen to showcase the character and quality of their origin
The Legends Dolomiti Pinot Grigio has been awarded bronze by Decanter, IWSC and IWC, while prices start at £8.49
The five wines are: Legends Dolomiti Pinot Grigio - a crisp Italian white from the Dolomites; Legends Fern Hills Sauvignon Blanc - another crisp white, this time from New Zealand’s Marlborough district; Legends Bordeaux Rosé Tutiac - a fresh and fruity dry wine; Legends Pinot Noir Reserve - a smooth red made in Romania from the world-renowned grape variety; and Legends Côtes du Rhône, a versitile, smooth red and a much-loved French classic.
In addition to these hero wines, the wider Legends range will feature other regional discoveries and classic grape varieties, giving customers even more choice and opportunities to explore affordable premium wines from across the world.
