This March, British seaside breaks are set to get a major refresh as Parkdean Resorts reopens two of its most popular destinations – Vauxhall Holiday Park in Norfolk and Highfield Grange in Essex. Following £10 million transformations, both parks promise a "Bigger, Better, Bolder" experience just in time for the Easter holidays.
The multi-million-pound makeovers combine high-tech adventure with reimagined family comforts, ensuring there’s something for everyone – from toddlers to grandparents. Both parks has been upgraded to create a fresh, fun-filled holiday experience.
Proving that family fun doesn’t have to break the bank, getaways start from just £112 in April. School holiday deals also offer excellent value, with a four-night stay at Vauxhall Holiday Park from £149 – £37 per person.
The park improvements include a wide range of activities to keep the fun going, whatever the Great British weather throws at us. Thrill-seekers can tackle new high and low ropes courses, while the Bear Grylls Escape Rooms offer a survival-themed challenge for families and friends to enjoy together.
Younger explorers can enjoy the "Off-Road Rangers" track and the new "Tots Safe Zones," designed just for little adventurers. Meanwhile, the Hat Tricks Sports Bar provides a social hub for adults and teens with interactive darts, shuffleboard, indoor golf, and stylish outdoor dining terraces for al fresco meals.

An additional enhancement planned for the 2026 season includes the launch of an all-inclusive package at 42 of its UK parks for selected dates throughout the year. Rates start from £25 per adult per day and £10 per child, with four-night midweek all-inclusive packages proving particularly attractive for both couples and families. The all-inclusive package encompasses three complete meals each day - breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Guests can enjoy unlimited Costa Coffee and soft drinks throughout their stay, enabling them to unwind without worrying about additional costs.
For those unable to find a suitable break with Parkdean Resorts, Haven has also launched its 2026 offers, with basic three-night caravan holidays available from just £49. Elsewhere at Forest Holidays, nature lovers can save up to £60 on log cabin getaways across 13 UK sites, or up to £150 on week-long breaks.
Guests at both holiday parks have taken to sharing their feedback online, with numerous five-star reviews appearing. One satisfied guest at Highfields Grange commented: "We've had a lovely week away. The entertainment staff have been amazing. Great shows, brilliant interaction with the kids. Becky, Ricky and all the entertainers... can't fault them."
Another guest remarked: "Amazing holiday kids has so much much perfect location. The night entertainment was amazing." At Vauxhall Holiday Park, one guest described it as a "special place" saying: "It was our first holiday of this kind, but we felt wonderful. The caravan was clean, spacious and warm, the beds comfortable. We went with our five-year old grandson, who enjoyed a lot of activities, many interactive, in which we, the grandparents, also found a place."
However, not every visitor shared the same enthusiasm. One remarked that "the caravan was OK but not clean" whilst another observed: "Caravan was 100%. Perfect. Modern, clean, comfortable, but the whole pool area let everything down. Dirty, unattractive, changing rooms door did not lock."
Despite this, the majority of holidaymakers appear to appreciate a classic seaside caravan getaway at both locations, even prior to any recent upgrades. One repeat guest commented: "Went on holiday here in August, loved every minute and worth every penny. Definitely will be going again, great facilities from the arcade to the bar, from the pool to the restaurant and excellent staff all around."
