An incident is causing delays on the M6 Thelwall Viaduct this afternoon.
Two lanes have been closed as a result of the incident on the southbound carriageway.
Traffic monitoring system Inrix states: "Two lanes closed and slow traffic due to accident on M6 Thelwall Viaduct Southbound from J21A M62 J10 (Croft Interchange) to J21 A57 Manchester Road (Woolston).
"There are two of four lanes closed."

At 2.10pm on Friday 20 March, emergency services were called to reports of a pedestrian on the M6 southbound near to junction 21.
Highways attended and found that the woman’s car had broken down.
She was taken to a place of safety and the vehicle has been recovered.
